Til I Hear You Sing

I must admit I haven't seen this musical, but a couple of friends saw it in London and recommended this song. What's your opinion on this sequel? Personally, I think they should have just left it alone and let Phantom remain a classic.

Spanish Fever!

Tonight I will celebrate my birthday with friends with lots of tapas, paella and sangria! So let's experience some Spanish spirit here with a clip from music-documentary Cuba Feliz! The song is called Lagrimas Negras, meaning Black Tears. I originally heard a different version of this song on Putumayo's World Music album named Cafe Cubano, which I highly recommend.

You Can't Hurry Love

Let's continue the blog in good spirits. I had a wonderful birthday yesterday, and the happy times reminded me on high school discos somehow, where they played real feel good songs from Motown group The Supremes. It'll definitely lift your spirits after listening!

Joshua Bell's 'Estrellita' *little star*

Something more mellow today featuring the classical artist Joshua Bell, playing something not so classical. To be truthful, I've never been a fan of Joshua Bell, but this is a beautiful rendition of the Mexican song Estrellita.
Perfect for listening in the still of the night alone, or with your loved one~

Always On Time, Ja Rule ft. Ashanti

This song popped into my mind out of the blue one day last week, for no reason really. Listening to it brings back many memories of the London partying days around 2002-3. I'm sure it will remind many of you of your fun nights out too!

First post, let's start with some powerful stuff from Leona Lewis. Ironically, I always thought it was 'keep breathing' instead of 'keep bleeding'!
